Money Forward, Inc. has been selected for the first time as a constituent of “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index (“the Index”).” The Index is created by FTSE Russell, one of the leading ESG rating agencies, and evaluates companies that excel in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) practices. Approximately 600 companies with relatively high scores are selected for inclusion. The Index is also adopted as a passive investment benchmark for ESG investments by the Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF).

■ About the “FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index”
“FTSE Blossom Japan Sector Relative Index” is constructed by FTSE Russell, a global index provider. The Index reflects the performance of Japanese companies that demonstrate strong environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices in their respective sectors, and is designed to be sector-neutral. Also, to promote the transition to a low carbon economy, companies with particularly high greenhouse gas emissions are included in the Index only if their improvement efforts are evaluated using the TPI Management Quality Score.
