Announcement Regarding Executive Personnel Changes for Strengthening Management Structure
Money Forward, Inc. announces the following personnel changes of its Directors and Executive Officers, effective December 1, 2025.
Yamada has overseen the business strategy in the corporate business area as CSO of Money Forward Business Company. Going forward, he will assume a strategic role for the entire Money Forward Group as Group CSO. Kanesaka will continue to perform his duties as Director of the Company, while focusing more on the business growth of the consumer business area as President and Representative Director of Money Forward HOME, Inc. Agari, as Group CCDO, will drive corporate development initiatives beyond M&A and alliances.
Furthermore, we aim to strengthen our management structure by appointing four new Executive Officers: Umeda and Iwasaki in the corporate area, and Watanabe and Matsumura in the corporate business area.

| Kokichi Umeda joined The Sanwa Bank, Ltd. (currently MUFG Bank, Ltd.) in 1996, where he developed core systems for direct banking and call centers. From 2014, he spearheaded integrated strategy planning for business and systems as well as crisis management. From 2020, he led operational resilience, AI governance, among other initiatives, within the Risk Management Division. He joined Money Forward in February 2025. Umeda holds a Master of Information Systems Management from Carnegie Mellon University. |

After serving concurrently as Division Manager of the Cloud Expense Division and Division Manager of the Customer Relations Division, he assumed his current position in December 2025. |

| Michio Matsumura began his career as a designer at a contract production company. At mixi, he led the design division. At Recruit Co., Ltd., he was the head of the HR domain product management organization (Executive Officer) and the company-wide design organization. He then joined LITALICO lnc., where he served as CPO (Executive Officer), overseeing the product management and design organizations. He joined Money Forward in 2024. He is currently focused on the management of design organizations across the SMB, ERP, and HR domains. He assumed his current position in December 2025. |

| Dai Iwasaki was admitted to the Japan Bar in 2007 and to the New York State Bar in 2015. He joined Anderson Mori & Tomotsune LPC in 2008 and gained in-house legal experience while seconded to Yahoo Japan Corporation (currently LY Corporation). In 2014, he earned a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Law. His international experience includes secondments at Reed Smith LLP (Los Angeles), Brigard & Urrutia Abogados S.A. (Colombia), and Mattos Filho, Veiga Filho, Marrey Jr e Quiroga Advogados (Brazil). He joined Tokyo International Law Office in 2019. He joined Money Forward in 2024 and, effective in 2025, was appointed Executive Officer, Division Manager of Legal Governance Division, and Head of Overseas Business and M&A. |
