Money Forward, Inc. is launching its AI Invoice Download Agent for Money Forward Cloud Accounts Payable, initially available to a limited number of users. The AI Agent greatly streamlines invoice receipt operations by autonomously navigating invoice download sites to handle the entire process, from importing invoices to creating payment requests.

We are launching our product’s first AI agent, the “AI Invoice Download Agent.”* Upon detecting an invoice notification email, the AI detects the necessary links and passwords, autonomously navigates invoice download sites, and handles the entire process from importing invoices to creating payment requests. This automates the business workflow, including invoice receipt, downloading, and payment request registration, thereby freeing users from complex monthly tasks.

This service will initially be available to a limited number of users, with plans to gradually expand the scope of availability. We plan to continue enhancing the service, further enabling the AI to autonomously handle more of the user’s workflow, including the automatic analysis of invoice data and creation and approval of payment requests on behalf of users.

■ Background of Service Launch
In recent years, driven by legal changes and other factors, many companies have shifted to paperless invoicing, making the practice of sending invoices via the web more commonplace. This has created a new bottleneck, as the receiving party must now deal with the hassle of logging into numerous download portals to retrieve their invoices. This process of collecting and downloading a large volume of invoices at the end and beginning of the month has become a significant operational burden, which also entails risks such as human error and payment delays. Furthermore, the time and effort required for these tasks translate into costs for companies in terms of labor costs and outsourcing fees.

The AI Invoice Download Agent solves these challenges by having its AI Agent execute the process from invoice receipt to payment request creation on behalf of employees.
