This feature automates the transcription and correction of information during invoice processing, significantly reducing manual entry and further enhancing operational efficiency for accounting departments.

The “Payment Request Application Support Agent” is an AI agent that suggests payment request data requiring no manual correction, simply by uploading an invoice. By leveraging historical application data in addition to existing AI-OCR capabilities, the agent delivers highly accurate suggestions. This automates the entire process of searching past data, transcribing information, and making corrections for the same payee, enabling further reductions in the time required to process each invoice. This service will initially be available to a limited number of users, with plans to gradually expand the scope of availability.

Money Forward plans to continue rolling out AI agents across a wide range of back-office functions, and by evolving its products to enable autonomous task execution, aims to contribute to business growth for its users through automation.

The “Payment Request Application Support Agent” performs the following tasks by intelligently combining data processed with the AI-OCR functionality and past application records.

Accurately extracts the latest “Invoice Date,” “Invoice Amount,” and “Payee” from uploaded invoice images.

2. Reference to past data
The AI automatically references past application data linked to the identified payee. From highly similar applications, it carries over information such as “Account Item” and “Department.”

3. Proposal for data requiring no correction
Automatically reflects the newly extracted “Invoice Date” and “Invoice Amount” and proposes payment request application data that requires no manual correction.
